The Innovation Office of the Region of Peloponnese, a landmark project implemented by the University of the Peloponnese, is officially opening its doors, marking the beginning of a new era for innovation, entrepreneurship, and the connection between research and production in the Region.
To mark the start of its operations, an opening ceremony will be held on Wednesday, July 15, 2026 at 19:00, at the Innovation Office premises in Tripoli (Chatzichristou 18 & Omiron).
The event will be honored by the presence of the Rector of the University of Peloponnese, representatives of the Region of Peloponnese, representatives of the European Commission, the Presidents of the Chambers of the Region of Peloponnese, as well as representatives of the academic, research, and business community.
The Innovation Office is a strategically significant initiative, with a mission to serve as the central support mechanism for innovation in the Region of Peloponnese. Through specialized services, networking actions, and partnerships with businesses, universities, research institutions, and public organizations, it will strengthen the utilization of research, the development of new collaborations, and the promotion of innovative solutions that address the real needs of the Region.
The opening ceremony marks the official launch of a new structure that aspires to become a reference point for innovation in the Peloponnese, strengthening cooperation between the academic sector, the business community, public bodies, and civil society, with the shared goal of sustainable development and the strengthening of the region’s innovation ecosystem.

The project is implemented within the framework of the Action “Support actions for entrepreneurial discovery through the collaboration of Regional Business and Research Organizations (Innovation Office)”, with MIS code 6011212. The Action is part of the “Peloponnese 2021–2027” Programme and is co-financed by the European Union (European Regional Development Fund) and national resources through the Public Investment Programme. The Contracting Authority is the University of the Peloponnese.
